PostSubject: To go, or not to go...   Thu Oct 12, 2006 8:38 am

I got asked out last Sunday by a customer at work. I'm in 2 minds whether to go or not.

Reasons for going:
- He seems really nice
- He might come back into the garage
- Would be good to go out on a date, I guess

Resons for not going:
- Can't be with anyone
- I like being single
- I won't have time in my life for someone if my plan works out.
- I'd feel like I have an obligation to him if I did go
- X Factor is on Saturday. peep
So, my little Faerie's, its up to you. Should I go?

I think you've already made your mind up!!

Right - what are your plans for life and why wouldn't he fit in with them - are you planning on being a nun? are you planning on not being in a relationship ever ever ever for the rest of your life?

why would you feel like you have an obligation to him, and what obligation would that be?

why can't you be with anyone?

Negative does outweigh the possitive!

I need to save up for my own home, which I intend to do by working 7 days a week... 7 days a week working + social life + my course * boyfriend = me dropping down dead.

heehee Nah, I enjoy sex too much for that! coy

Can't because of stuff with mum, not until I'm away from her and happy within me... it relates to why I can't be with anyone and me getting my own house...

Because I'm like that. meh

Because of my mum. It impacted a lot on me and my ex and I hate myself for that, i dont want to do that to someone else.

Anything else madam?

so when you get your home are you planning on working 7/7 then?

how much do you need? a deposit for a mortgage? you can get 100% mortgages or maybe a loan?

If the negatives outweight the positives, then no - you shouldn't go. You'll be wasting his time and yours.

I don't know what has/is going on with you and your mum, but have you ever thought of counselling? it will help with your issues with your mum and help you feeling happy within.

I don't want a 100% mortgage, I've heard mixed things about them and I want as little of a mortgage as possible to be honest.

Its obvious the negs outweigh the possitives, look at the original post.

She's an alcoholic, she neds the counselling mroe than me. I'm alright when I'm away from her. And befor eyou say, no she won't admit it, she admits to 2 glasses max, nothing more. Never ending battle.
